Briana Boston

In December 2024, after the assassination of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Boston made a threatening phone call to Blue Cross Blue Shield stating, “Delay, deny, depose. You people are next.” “Delay,” “deny,” and “depose” were the words scrawled on the shell casings found at the scene of Thompson’s murder. Boston was arrested and charged with threats to commit terrorism or a mass shooting.

Manuel Tamayo-Torres

In August 2024, Torres filmed himself outside of a Trump rally in Glendale, Arizona and made threats against the President and his family. Torres accused President Trump of selling his own daughter into sex trafficking and threatened to “put a hole” in his face. Torres was brandishing an AR-15-style rifle in several of the threatening videos. He was arrested in San Diego for his actions.

Aidan Smith

An HR Analyst at UCLA Health according to his since deleted LinkedIn profile, in November 2024 Smith allegedly made threatening remarks to author J.K Rowling and Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC). In response to a tweet Rowling made about John Oliver, Smith stated, “I hope someone m*****s this b*tch soon.” In the same month, Smith allegedly sent a threatening, expletive-laden voicemail to Mace’s office in response to the congresswoman’s transgender bathroom policy, stating he hopes she commits suicide. Smith followed up by saying he will “pray to GOD” that Mace commits suicide. Shortly after these incidents went viral, Smith took down his pages on X and Bluesky (@Aidanrts), but as of December 2024 his X page is active but on “protected” status, and his Bluesky page is also active. Despite the evidence, Smith denies involvement in making the voicemail.

Comrade Workwear

A self-proclaimed socialist apparel company, shortly after the assassination of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Comrade Workwear launched a card game titled “Most Wanted CEO.” According to James Harr the CEO of Comrade Workwear, the cards are inspired by the “Most Wanted Iraqi” card games distributed to coalition forces to target and kill Saddam Hussein’s inner circle during the Gulf War. Harr has made social media posts with images saying, “the CEO must die.” The flipside of the cards in the game includes an image of a red human silhouette gun range target, and the reverse side has the name of a specific CEO or influential person. The game has been heavily criticized for inciting violence and potentially inspiring copycat assassinations.

Philadelphia Young Communist League

A new but growing left-wing grassroots organization, The Philadelphia Young Communist League is a youth arm of the national Communist Party of the United States of America. Its stated aim is the “transformation” of the United States into a “socialist society” through “democratic struggle.”

Venus Andromeda

Known alternatively by the username Venusp**nis, Andromeda is an online trans activist and social media personality on Instagram. Andromeda once called for the murder of J.K Rowling, stating that the Harry Potter author “needs to die” and get “burned at the stake.” In the same video, Andromeda stated trans people should hold their elected officials accountable by “murdering them” and “condones” murder to that end. On November 19, 2024, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) posted a video in which Andromeda threatened Mace’s life, saying: “I hope that one day I do find you in that woman’s bathroom and I grab you by your ratty looking f**king hair and drag you face-down to the floor while I repeatedly bash it in until the blood’s everywhere and you’re dead.” On another occasion, Andromeda posted an Instagram Story addressing the congresswoman with the caption “prepare to die @repnancymace.” Both the original video and Andromeda’s Instagram account were deleted soon after.

Mass Liberation Project

A left-wing advocacy group that calls for the abolition of the criminal justice system and the removal of prisons and punishment levied by the American legal system. Mass Liberation Project also claims African Americans need to be “liberated” from American culture.

Fayer Collective

A group of self-described Jewish left-wing activists who are pro-Palestinian and anti-police, Fayer Collective also participated in the infamous “Cop City” protests in Atlanta which saw three-dozen activists indicted for RICO offenses. Fayer Collective describe themselves as anti-capitalists, believe governments are illegitimate, and explicitly oppose civilization. In 2023 the Fayer Collective published a pamphlet which encouraged violence against authorities and the destruction of property to obtain a ceasefire deal in Gaza. That same pamphlet described the October 7 terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 Israeli civilians as a “surprise offensive.”

Dream Defenders

A group which relies on confrontational tactics to achieve its goals, Dream Defenders is a Miami-based left-wing activist group with the express aim of abolishing capitalism within the United States and ushering in a socialist society. The group also works to “eradicate policing, prisons, surveillance, and punishment.” The Dream Defenders routinely obstruct traffic during protests. In June 2022 during a protest in Pensacola, a line of Dream Defender activists blocked traffic and demanded the Mayor accede to their demands before they would disperse.

CrimethInc Ex-Workers Collective

A self-decscribed “autonomous collective” of anarchist groups that oppose the existence of governments and capitalism, CrimethInc openly endorses violence as a tool in pursuit of their political goals. Their website states that “the most important ethical and strategic question about any action is not whether it is violent, or legal, or coercive, but rather, how does it distribute power?” Location: Nationwide, with a heavy presence in New York City, NY
