Venus Andromeda

Known alternatively by the username Venusp**nis, Andromeda is an online trans activist and social media personality on Instagram. Andromeda once called for the murder of J.K Rowling, stating that the Harry Potter author “needs to die” and get “burned at the stake.” In the same video, Andromeda stated trans people should hold their elected officials accountable by “murdering them” and “condones” murder to that end. On November 19, 2024, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) posted a video in which Andromeda threatened Mace’s life, saying: “I hope that one day I do find you in that woman’s bathroom and I grab you by your ratty looking f**king hair and drag you face-down to the floor while I repeatedly bash it in until the blood’s everywhere and you’re dead.” On another occasion, Andromeda posted an Instagram Story addressing the congresswoman with the caption “prepare to die @repnancymace.” Both the original video and Andromeda’s Instagram account were deleted soon after.

Mass Liberation Project

A left-wing advocacy group that calls for the abolition of the criminal justice system and the removal of prisons and punishment levied by the American legal system. Mass Liberation Project also claims African Americans need to be “liberated” from American culture.

Fayer Collective

A group of self-described Jewish left-wing activists who are pro-Palestinian and anti-police, Fayer Collective also participated in the infamous “Cop City” protests in Atlanta which saw three-dozen activists indicted for RICO offenses. Fayer Collective describe themselves as anti-capitalists, believe governments are illegitimate, and explicitly oppose civilization. In 2023 the Fayer Collective published a pamphlet which encouraged violence against authorities and the destruction of property to obtain a ceasefire deal in Gaza. That same pamphlet described the October 7 terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 Israeli civilians as a “surprise offensive.”

Dream Defenders

A group which relies on confrontational tactics to achieve its goals, Dream Defenders is a Miami-based left-wing activist group with the express aim of abolishing capitalism within the United States and ushering in a socialist society. The group also works to “eradicate policing, prisons, surveillance, and punishment.” The Dream Defenders routinely obstruct traffic during protests. In June 2022 during a protest in Pensacola, a line of Dream Defender activists blocked traffic and demanded the Mayor accede to their demands before they would disperse.

CrimethInc Ex-Workers Collective

A self-decscribed “autonomous collective” of anarchist groups that oppose the existence of governments and capitalism, CrimethInc openly endorses violence as a tool in pursuit of their political goals. Their website states that “the most important ethical and strategic question about any action is not whether it is violent, or legal, or coercive, but rather, how does it distribute power?” Location: Nationwide, with a heavy presence in New York City, NY

18 Million Rising

A left-wing advocacy group founded to mobilize Asian Americans, 18 Million Rising’s stated goal is to “dismantle systems of oppression, fight white supremacy, and work towards a liberated future for Asian Americans and all people.” In response to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack that left more than 1,200 Israeli civilians dead, 18 Million Rising stated the attack was “the Palestinian people rising up against 75+ years of Israeli settler colonial violence and occupation.” Their reaction post included a graphic which stated “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.”

Defend the Atlanta Forest

Known for its environmental activism, Defend the Atlanta Forest is a left-wing group whose express aim is to stop the construction of police training facilities near Atlanta, which they dub “Cop City.” In September 2023, members of three-dozen activists associated with Defend the Atlanta Forest and aligned groups were indicted on RICO charges for attempting to stop the construction of the “Cop City” training centers. The group has ties with numerous other far-left organizations such as ANTIFA Atlanta, which has endorsed their activities in the past.

Colorado Palestine Coalition

A prominent local grassroots activist group, the Colorado Palestine Coalition is a collection of left-wing organizations joined together in support of Hamas. The Coalition has a history of shutting down the streets of Denver and obstructing traffic while yelling incendiary phrases like “down with occupation!” in reference to Israel and “free Palestine!”

Ready to Escalate Network

A consortium of left-wing advocacy groups, Ready to Escalate Network exists to organize pro-Hamas encampment protests and move them beyond college campuses. Their website is “a clearing house for reports and reflections from encampments and beyond, a place to share resources produced by and for the unfolding movement.” They also state their goal is use the pro-Palestine movement as a tool to “paralyze the economy” of America. Ready to escalate asserts that there is no such thing as a “safe protest” and that the “genocide unfolding in occupied Palestine must be stopped by any means necessary.”

Within Our Lifetime

A grassroots activist group favoring pro-Palestinian causes, Within Our Lifetime (WOL) is accused of sympathizing with Hamas terrorists and being a primary organizer of pro-Hamas protests in New York City following the October 7 terrorist attack in Israel that left more than 1,200 civilians dead. The group has allegedly promoted calls for violence against Israel and its citizens. Another stated goal of WOL is to “globalize the intifada.” In April 2024 Within Our Lifetime posted a video of one of their members, Harvard student Abdullah Akl, chanting “Strike, strike, Tel Aviv. Abu Obeida, our beloved.” They took down the video soon afterward.
