In 2020 the group arranged events that turned into violent riots. PSL said in a video that the 2020 riots will happen again but they will be bigger this time around. On April 25, 2024, the Party for Socialism and Liberation attempted to organize a mass protest on the campus of Northwestern University. This same organization promised that the race riots of 2020 will happen “again” and be “bigger this time.”

During a protest in New York, PSL speakers spoke saying “resistance is not terrorism” and endorsed resistance against “the Zionist entity…by any means necessary.” On January 1, 2025, the group partnered with People’s Forum, and the Palestinian Youth Movement to flood the streets of Manhattan for an anti-Israel protest with supporters calling for a “global intifada”. This coincides with the same day of the occurrence of an Islamic terrorist attack in New Orleans that left 15 dead and at least 35 wounded.

The actions of the resistance over the course of the last day is [sic] a morally and legally legitimate response to occupation.”

Assata’s Daughters

A left-wing activist group based in Chicago, Assata’s Daughters runs a series of youth indoctrination programs whose objective is to “abolish the police” and replace them with mutual aid programs. The group is known for advocating against males towards joining their cause, however they have moved toward providing “lessons to young men and boys on toxic notions of masculinity” and “dismantling patriarchal systems of oppression.”

BAMN – Los Angeles, CA

By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) is a left-wing protest group known for fomenting violence during their demonstrations. In April 2015, protesters associated with “BAMN” stormed the University of Michigan Board of Regents meeting, knocking over tables, causing a person to fall down, and damaging personal property. Yvette Felarca, leader of the Berkeley BAMN chapter, advocated violence against anyone identified as a “racist” or “fascist.”

Not F*cking Around Coalition

An extremist group that rose in popularity during the 2020 BLM riots, Not F*cking Around Coalition has become infamous for marching around cities in full “black-bloc” attire carrying AK-15s ostensibly in protest of police brutality. John Johnson, also known as Commander Grand Master Jay described the NFAC this way: “We’re all ex-military, we’re all very disciplined, we’re all expert shooters. We don’t want to talk no more, we don’t want to negotiate, we don’t want to sing songs, we don’t bring signs to a gun fight. We are an eye-for-an-eye organization. So, when they decide to act right, we’ll decide to act right and we’ll do it all legally, just like they do.” Commander GMJ said the militia is “the backbone for the military, for a new Black nation.”
