On July 25, 2024, the group threatened to destroy the university as well as “brutalize” and “escalate” action against the city of New York, according to reports. In a statement, the group argued that the pro-Hamas encampments across universities did not go far enough, and that the goal should be to “disrupt, dismantle, and abolish” institutions such as universities.
