A network of far-left anarchist groups designed specifically to recruit teenagers, the Youth Liberation Front (YLF) has openly disavowed peaceful protest and complying with police demands. The group has stated, “Your protest can NEVER be peaceful if it perpetuates the violence of policing.” In 2020 the Seattle Times reported YLF instructed its members that, “If you see someone smashing windows, shut the f*** up.” YLF has openly called for vandalism and terrorist attacks against prisons. NYC Youth Liberation Front

A nationwide leftist “gun rights” group frequently associated with ANTIFA, the anti-cop movement, and general left-wing extremism. Many chapters later abandoned the John Brown Gun Club name and became part of “Redneck Revolt.” In 2019, a Club member attempted to blow up a detention facility but was thwarted by police. In 2023, members of the Club instigated a brawl that took place outside of a drag show in Fort Worth in which they attacked both protesters and police. The Seven Hills chapter of ANTIFA is known for engaging in violent altercations. They assaulted a reporter who was filming them, and then proceeded to blame the reporter for their actions.  

The Bay-area ANTIFA chapter is known for showing up to peaceful right-leaning rallies in military clothing with the intent of causing disruption. Bay area ANTIFA has also attacked people at free speech rallies held in the area.

The Sacramento chapter of ANTIFA has made news for numerous violent acts. Members of ANTIFA Sacramento staged an attack on the Sacramento DA’s office, trying to set a fire in the DA’s office lobby. According to the same press release from the Sacramento DA’s office, Sacramento ANTIFA has also threatened media reporters, made terroristic threats, and vandalized other buildings.
